St John Vianney Concert | Posted on 21 Feb 2010 by HMVC Admin
The concert at St John Vianney was very well received by all accounts. The church, near to being full, gave the choir a very warm reception throughout the night and, to finish a really good evening's entertainment, provided refreshments for all. Father Davin and Holly Langley presented the choir with a donation of £100

Coronary Support Group (letter to the mail) | Posted on 25 Jan 2010 by HMVC Admin
Thank you. Hartlepool,s Male voice Choir.
Whilst the voices from the Valleys and Coal fields of Wales are pleasing on the ear and no doubt fill their countrymen with pride and admiration and at another time putting the fear of death into the opposition at Rorke,s Drift.
Hartlepool,s own special blend of male voices illuminates the area from Fountains Abbey up to and beyond Newcastle and can be heard as far south as London and as far east as Hucklehoven. Their flexability allows them to perform in venues of all shapes end sizes including churches, village halls, Albert Hall and of course the Borough Hall.
In addition to demonstrating thier vocal skills inside these splendid buildings they do not hesitate to match the elements outside in such beautiful settings as Fountains Abbey. Not for them the acoustically enhanced valleys of south Wales and the Brecon Beacons. Their vocal skills have been honed and polished in the shipyards, steelworks and engineering industries of Hartlepool and south Durham.
Why do we say these things about The Hartlepool Male Voice Choir? First because they are true, second they deserve them and thirdly as a very big thank you for sopporting local charities including The Hartlepool,s Hearts Coronary Support group.
